Friday, January 27, 2012. TDD as path to sloth. One of the lesser-sung attributes of Test-Driven Development is that it can actually save you development effort. This happened to me yesterday, when I was refactoring some Launchpad code. It could have happened today, because Zope also encodes Unicode strings to utf-8 for you, but I was unit-testing at a different level, so I implemented, then removed, manual utf-8 encoding.
